they all have funky hair! hurhur!
this is tim hughes! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT! he looks so young right! i always thought he was an old man cos we've been singing consuming fire since we were in secondary school, i mean i always assumed he wrote it. BUT wha. he's supa young! (:
hillsongs was actually very awesome. you know how everyone says that you see a glimpse of what heaven's like in hillsongs? i went last year wanting to feel that again. the only time ive ever felt what heaven would be like was when i was 18? we were at kids camp and it was parents night so all the children would be singing what they've learnt at camp. we were in the sanctuary, and it was just us and the kids before the parents came in and the sound of their voices literally brought tears to my eyes. it was so pure, slightly desperate for God, but definitely happy, carefree, and truly singing their hearts out for God. it always reminded me of where we started out once. innocent, believing, trusting, believing that GOD IS. MORE. THAN. ENOUGH. then life gets us in trouble. eversince ive felt that i was dying to feel it again (: i brought the memory of it so clear in my heart of the angels singing hymns and praising God with me to hillsongs last year,
but it didnt happen there..
and i guess (: i learnt alot from that as well
this year, i went without expecting. same as the year before, it was a christian conference, but so many unchristian-like things happened. many times it just made me sad that adults are just so annoying. but still, i felt God there (: although the spirit of sleep came upon me alot of times :D i felt GOD. esp this night! when this indonesian worship leader sang a song he wrote, although i dont remember how the song goes, it spoke volumes of what God wants us to do (:
